Would you wear a string bikini with two pink nipples printed in front?
Well, it's called the TaTa top, and it's a new fashion trend in the U.S.
Bikini makers Robyn Graves and Michelle Lytle said the whole concept of making the bra is basically a f*ck you to patriarchal society. Because if guys could roam around the beach topless, why couldn't girls do the same?
The two wrote on their website, "If you really think about it, what’s the difference between a man’s nipples and a woman's? Is it really just the extra breast tissue? Is it the fact that women’s nipples are paired with a vagina?"
The top allows women to hit the beach, and LOOK naked—without being, well, hubad. "If the sight of uncovered nipples makes you shudder in fear or pop off in anger, then game on and may the breast girl win," the creators said.
The bikini retails for $28 (about P1,200), and comes in light, medium, and dark colors. If you do decide to invest in this fine piece of clothing, you'll be able to support the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation, which funds educational outreach programs and research that might be able to find a cure for the disease.
So, where else can you wear the TaTa top? Apparently....
You can wear it during yoga!
While walking your dogs.
While getting a tan.
And err, while drinking beer?
How about you, chica? Would you wear the nipple bikini?
