They look intimidating, but there's a reason why sparkly ear cuffs are the newest accessory favorites of celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Emma Watson, and Cara Delevingne.
Depending on the kind of design you want, an ear cuff will usually cover your whole ear, or half of it. And yes, most stores will only sell you ONE earring, and not a pair. An ear cuff was made to stand alone, so don't bother overdoing the trend by wearing one on your right ear and one on your left.
Our advice? Opt for a cuff that comes in one color (if it's gold, it's gold; if it's silver, it's just silver), so you don't have a lot going on. Wear it when you have something basic on, like a LBD or a LWD—anything monochromatic or neutral. If you wear the ear cuff with a trendy, busy ensemble (like color blocking or print-on-print), it will look OTT.
Also, you want people to see the cuff on your ear. So make sure your hair is tied in a cute little ponytail. Or an updo. That, or you can just take a billion hair pins and do a gorgeous side-swept hairstyle!
