Dressing up for a beach wedding can be tricky. While it is a formal occasion, you can’t expect to go strolling on the shore wearing a long gown and sky-high stilettos, right? Instead, go for sundresses in soft fabrics like cotton, which will make your skin breathe amidst the hot weather. Not only are they super easy to pack in your suitcase, they need minimal ironing, too!
As for your shoes, we suggest ditching your high heels for a more comfortable pair of strappy sandals. If you must wear heels, printed wedges are a safe alternative. They’ll give you the height you want, and they're sand-friendly, too!
On your next destination wedding, make sure to bring one of these outfits:
Sun & Sandals
While it is tempting to wear flip-flops to the beach, resist the urge by bringing a pair of embellished or leather sandals—just make sure you have a pretty pedicure to match!
Keep It Simple
It isn’t wise to outshine the bride on her big day. So if your dress has a dizzying design, don’t go overboard with accessories. A pair of drop earrings or stacked bracelets will do.
When in doubt, a floral-printed dress is the way to go! It’s fun, flirty, and looks even better when paired with a floppy hat.
