From fried to weirdly, stubborn tangled hair, our tresses get moody from time to time. And before you get exhausted Youtube-ing the crap out of hair hack videos, here are a few tips that'll help you get your dream hair with minimum effort.
Braid your hair
Tying your hair up in a braid is a great way to style your hair differently than a regular ponytail. This way, your hair stays in place and remains detangled all day long.
Condition your hair
Conditioning the hair will restore the moisture, leaving it smoother and less likely to tangle. We suggest you to always condition your hair every time you shampoo, and soak your tresses in a deep conditioning mask every one or two weeks.
Use a wide tooth comb
You're maybe inclined towards using hair brushes because they're "faster," but using a wide tooth comb is a much better idea. This will not only remove the tangles more efficiently, but you will also protect your hair from being torn and damaged at the tips. Start from the bottom of the knot, and patiently work your way up towards the scalp.
Brush your hair twice a day
If your hair is prone to tangling, it's probably not a good idea to let it down for long hours without brushing it. Brush your hair twice a day using a soft bristle brush, especially before you take a bath and ahead of your bedtime.
Apply a serum to your strands
The reason your hair splits and breaks is most likely because it is dry. Just like your skin, your hair needs moisture to stay healthy. A hair serum can hydrate and nourish the ends of your hair, preventing split ends and tangles.
Protect your hair while you sleep
Your hair gets tangled when you sleep. To prevent this, apply a leave-in conditioner to your strands or braid your hair before you sleep.
