Following the latest trend of celebrities who have their own YouTube channels is Lana Condor, who you *might* know from the 2018 movie To All The Boys I've Loved Before (and its upcoming sequel, To All The Boys: P.S. I Still Love You!). She posted her first-ever video, which, lucky for us kikay girls, is about her everyday makeup look!

Ahead, we've listed down Lana's top beauty tips and tricks for a fresh-faced makeup look:

  1. Choose a lightweight base product.

According to Lana, she prefers using a CC cream over a foundation for a lightweight, fresh base. The former will even out your skin tone while providing your face coverage. Lana also recommends applying it using a sponge to sheer out the product some more.

  2. Go for a no-fail eyeshadow color.

For her simple eye look, Lana revealed that she loves using peach eyeshadow because it complements her skin tone. She uses a small fluffy blending brush to give her lids a soft wash of color.

  3. Use circular and windshield-wiper motions to define hooded eyelids.

Since Lana has hooded lids, it can be quite a challenge to apply eyeshadow. The pigment tends to disappear when she opens her peepers. She shared that she uses circular and windshield-wiper motions to distribute the color.

  4. Pack on shimmer eyeshadow using your finger.

To amp up a simple makeup look, Lana dabs shimmer eyeshadow on her eyelids using her finger. She goes for a bronze-orange shade to complement the peach base.

  5. Fill in your brows using short, light strokes.

We're all scared of going overboard with our arches—we don't want them to look fake and drawn on. Lana's advice? "Hold your pencil like you're too afraid to touch your brows." (LOL!) This will help you create short, light strokes and end up with a realistic, hair-like finish.

  6. Line only your bottom lip.

Oftentimes, we underestimate the power of lip liner and just how plump it can make our pout look. It can, however, be easy to go overboard. To counteract this, Lana recommends only overlining your bottom lip to create the illusion of fuller lips.
