From August 4 to 18, 2020, NCR, Laguna, Rizal, Cavite, and Bulacan will revert to MECQ (Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine), a stricter form of quarantine. This means the movement of the residents is limited to accessing essentials goods and services. All personal care establishments such as massage parlors, saunas, and salons will be closed.
That said, if you've already scheduled an appointment this week prior to the announcement, here's what you need to know:
Piandré salons will be closed, but you can still book an appointment for home service through their site. Their services include haircuts, hair coloring, hair treatments, manicures, pedicures, and foot spas. Their online shop is also open, in case you need to replenish your stock of hair care products.
Stud & Sassy
According to Stud & Sassy, their salon in Ortigas will be closed, but they will be continuing their home service in limited areas only, depending on the restrictions of the MECQ.
NEW Lounge's branches in the metro will be closed for the duration of the MECQ. Their Davao and Cebu branch, however, will remain open to the public. Their Mobile Lash Service will also be available subject to the rules laid out by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) and LGUs.
Luminisce Skin Clinic
Luminisce is still open, but they will only cater to those with appointments for doctor's procedures. It is advised to contact the clinic first to book your slot before heading to the branch.
Katch Beauty Lounge
Katch Beauty Lounge will also be closing its doors until August 18. You can, however, reschedule your appointments after this time frame.
We will be updating this list every time we get information from local beauty establishments.
