Multimasking: The Beauty Trend That Could Save Your Skin

You’ve probably come across ~*life-changing*~ face masks that are marketed as the ONE magical product that can answer all of your skin’s needs. But let’s be real—different areas of your face have different needs.

Cue in “multimasking,” one of the latest trends in skincare. In a nutshell, it is the technique of using different face masks on specific areas of your face to answer each area’s needs.

For example, because the T-zone produces the most oil and is the most-acne prone area on the face, a deep-cleaning and oil-fighting mask will work best. For your under eyes, retinol-packed eye masks will help brighten and rejuvenate the area. Finally, for the cheeks and the rest of the face, hydrating and purifying masks will give you a clearer complexion.

And yes, you will have to put all of these products on all at the same time, and you will end up looking like a tribal warrior:

It makes so much sense to combine face masks and create your own skincare cocktail, especially if it means getting better skin. Sure, it might be a little pricey (because quality face masks don’t come cheap, y’all), but the results are pretty amazing.
