The Product: L'Oreal's Magic Blur Cream
Why We Think It's Going To Be Big: The product literally lives up to its name. We didn't think blur creams worked, until we tried this non-greasy, non-sticky, and completely weightless makeup base that removes your skin's roughness in seconds.
Where It's Available: L'Oreal counters and select Watsons stores for P899.
The Product: Revlon's Ultra HD Lipstick
Why We Think It's Going To Be Big: The formula is wax-free, which means it doesn't go on heavy, but it still packs a lot of pigment. You know how with other lipsticks, you have to keep going back to apply layer after layer? You only need one swipe with this formula. (P.S. Emma Stone chose the shade Tulip when she walked the red carpet during the 2015 Oscar Awards. So, yeah, it's not that special.)
Where It's Available: SM, Watsons, Robinsons, Landmark, PCX, Metro Gaisano, Sta. Lucia Department Store, and other retail stores nationwide for P625.
The Product: Bifesta Cleansing Lotion Bright Up
Why We Think It's Going To Be Big: The water-based makeup remover dissolves the most stubborn eye makeup (looking at you, three layers of mascara!)—while it moisturizes the face and sloughs off dead skin cells. If you're obsessed with Shu Uemura's oil-based makeup cleanser but can't afford to buy it regularly, this one is a pretty good—not to mention cheaper—alternative.
Where It's Available: Watsons for P419.
The Product: Heliocare Advance Spray
Why We Think It's Going To Be Big: It's easy to scrimp on sunblock—it's greasy and goes on super heavy. Which is why we are all for spray formulas that are oil-free, like this one from Heliocare. Best part? It doesn't leave you with that icky white residue. Plus, it's great for all skin types—yep, even girls who are pihikan with skin care products.
Where It's Available: Heliocare products are available in select dermatological clinics. For inquiries, call 244-6992, 242-3636 local 714 or 0917-800-4471. The Heliocare Advance Spray sells at P2,160.
The Product: Benefit's Puff Off!
Why We Think It's Going To Be Big: The under-eye gel goes on very cool, even if you store it at room temperature. The applicator looks like an iron, so it gently "smoothens out" creases under your eyes. It works best under your concealer (it's a great base, actually), but makeup artists swear you can put this on top of makeup, too, so you can freshen up midday.
Where It's Available: Greenbelt 5 at P1,500.
The Product: Human Nature's Acne Defense Solution Gel
Why We Think It's Going To Be Big: This pimple-fighting formula is potent, but won't dry your skin or leave it to peel (which can be really unattractive). It works super fast, too. We think it's because the solution is packed with antibacterial tea tree oil, known to work as hard as benzoyl peroxide in fighting off stubborn acne.
Where It's Available: www.humanheartnature.com at P199.75.
The Product: Tresemme Split Repair Shampoo
Why We Think It's Going To Be Big: Finally, we found shampoo that targets unattractive split ends. Tresemme's newest variant gently cleanses and moisturizes locks to make 'em look healthy and manageable. The shampoo is actually part of the brand's new hair care line, and we heard the serum works just as well, too. P.S. You know why Georgina Wilson's hair is so big and beautiful and full of secrets? Yeah, this is her secret.
Where It's Available: Grocery stores nationwide—600mL for P399; 340mL for P230; 170mL for P120
