Alden Richards' star power is only getting stronger as 2019 goes by. He's achieved many career milestones in the recent months: He won praises for his performance in the box-office hit film, Hello, Love, Goodbye, received the Asian Star Prize at the 2019 Seoul International Drama Awards (and trended on Naver, NBD!), and soon, he'll be starring in a new GMA-7 teleserye, entitled The Gift.
It seems that Alden is about to reach the prime of his career, and with all the success he's achieved, he still hasn't forgotten to pay tribute to his late mother, Rosario. In a tweet posted on September 4, the day after news broke that Hello, Love, Goodbye is officially the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, Alden sent out a touching message to his late mother: "LORD para talaga sa'yo lahat 'to, Mama kung nasan ka man...sana proud ka sa akin, ma. See you soon ok? Thank you sa inspirasyon."
Alden is known to keep his personal life very private, especially regarding his late mother. Not much is known about Rosario apart from the fact that she passed away in 2008 due to pneumonia. In 2017, Alden also tweeted about his mom's battle with depression and bipolar disorder.
We're sure that your mom's so, so proud of you, Alden! Big hugs!
