Look: Alex Gonzaga Wins A Prestigious Entertainment Award For Her Song 'Chambe Chambe'

YouTube has been on fire ever since Alex Gonzaga dropped the music video for her song 'Chambe Chambe' in November 2018. As of today, the post has earned close to 22 million views. The song was actually originally something she'd sing for her nephew Baby Seve Soriano, the firstborn of director Paul Soriano and her older sister, Toni Gonzaga.

The song's catchy moves have resulted in the viral #ChambeDanceChallenge, and even celebs like Nico Bolzico are "moving their hips sabay sa beat."

The ceremonies for the prestigious 50th Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation (GMMSF) Awards took place yesterday, March 24, and sure enough, Alex bagged the 'Promising Female Recording Artist of the Year' award for 'Chambe Chambe.'
