Bea Alonzo's new haicut is just gorgeous! But the best thing about it is that she documented her journey to what she calls her "shortest haircut ever" and posted it as the first entry on her YouTube channel, By Bea. That's a lot of firsts for the A-list actress. On her video, she revealed that this is also the first time she's sporting full bangs—the first since she was seven years old.
The video followed Bea, who was obviously nervous as she was heading to her hairdresser, Celeste Tuviera, director of Symmetria Salon, Taguig City.
Bea also explained in the video that the decision to get a haircut was made to better play a role in a movie with Aga Muhlach. She said she wanted her new character to be "quirky and fun." She also futher described her character as someone with a heart ailment, "and medyo mabigat 'yong movie, so I want the character to give sunshine do'n sa movie."
Before Celeste chopped her hair, Bea showed a photo in her phone of her seven-year-old self, wearing the same 'do. She said that the photo was taken in a studio just outside of their home at the time: "Nag-pose na ako nang ganyan agad na walang nagsasabi sa akin na mag-pose. Do'n pa lang, alam na ng nanay ko na mag-aartista ako."
On her account, Bea described her YouTube channel as a "passion project," adding that it "won't just give you more glimpses into my life, but will also allow you to journey with me as I try new things and challenge myself."
