Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Bea Luigi Gomez is on her way to Israel for the 70th Miss Universe competition.
In an IG Story, Bea also took the opportunity to send a message to netizens.
"Hi guys, this is it," she said. "We're finally ready for the universe! On my way to the airport."
Miss Universe PH also posted a photo of the beauty queen all set for her flight. Bea waved a mini flag of the Philippines and looked amazing in a Francis Libiran number.
"Emotions are high tonight, Philippines!" Miss Universe PH's IG post read. "We're happy, excited, proud, and nervous but we know you got this, @beatriceluigigmz! Safe travels and make us all proud!"
Bea was crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2021 on September 30. She is the first and only openly queer contestant in MUP history.
The Miss Universe 2021 competition will be held in Israel's city of Eilat and will air live on December 13, at 8 a.m. Philippine time.
