Ladies, meet your 2021 Miss Universe Philippines: Bea Luigi Gomez!
The 26-year-old from Cebu City bested 27 other candidates at the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 grand coronation night at the Henann Resort Convention Center in Alona Beach, Panglao, Bohol, on September 30. Beatrice wore a beautiful blue Furne Amato evening gown during the event.
During the question-and-answer portion, Beatrice was asked the following question:
If during your reign as Miss Universe Philippines things happen in your life that make you sad and uninspired, how would you be able to continue inspiring others?
Here's her winning answer:
"It is very evident that all of us went through difficulties during this pandemic, but it is also proof that we are able to rise to the occasion. And if anything happened to me during my reign, I will not give up and inspire others by rising to the problems that I am encountering, and by inspiring them that whatever you're going through, you will be able to overcome it."
Bea will be representing the country at the 2021 Miss Universe pageant to be held in Israel in December.
Katrina Jayne Dimaranan of Taguig was crowned Miss Universe Philippines Tourism, while Victoria Velasquez Vincent of Cavite was crowned Miss Universe Philippines Charity.
Winning the 2nd runner-up place was Steffi Rose Aberasturi of Cebu Province and Maureen Wroblewitz of Pangasinan as 1st runner-up.
