On the Grammys red carpet, Katy Perry turned heads when she made a seemingly dark joke about mental health and possibly Britney Spears. Katy told Ryan Seacrest that her recent absence from the music scene is "called taking care of my mental health" before adding, "I haven't shaved my head yet."
She also made a similar comment in an interview with CBS.
Viewers were quick to call Katy out on Twitter for possibly referencing Britney's 2007 head shaving incident and mental health struggles.
Talking about her mental health, Katy Perry said "well, I haven't shaved my head yet" in a reference to Britney Spears... Tragic.— Tegan Zayne (@TeganZayne) February 13, 2017
I just lost all my respect for Katy Perry, well the litle respect I did have for her

Britney, who attended Clive Davis' pre-Grammys party with boyfriend Sam Asghari over the weekend, has yet to comment on Katy's shade but on Monday, the Princess of Pop offered the next best thing: new Instagram posts. According to Britney, whose weekend spills into Mondays (which, lucky), a book in Malibu trumps any nega vibes:
She also re-grammed a fan's photo of heart hands at sunset, along with a bible quote, "Her mouth speaks from that which fills her heart."
Make of all of this what you will, and maybe head to Malibu on your next free weekend with a good book or two, because this is nice:
