Congratulations to Miss Pasay Celeste Cortesi, our new Miss Universe Philippines 2022! She was crowned by Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Bea Gomez at the coronation night held in Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday, April 30. This will be the Filipino-Italian's second national pageant, after being crowned Miss Philippines Earth in 2018.
Here's her winning answer to the question "If you could stop time for a day, how would you spend it?"
“If I could stop time, I would spend it with my family, especially my mother. It’s been two years since I didn’t see my family because they live in Italy and I came here to the Philippines just by myself. So if I had a chance to spend one day, I would definitely be with my mom and I would just tell her how much I love her and miss her.”
