"Dedicated"—that's the word Choi Bo Min used when asked about his plans as a newly signed artist under Universal Records Philippines and GLXY Management. ICYMI, the K-pop idol is the latest to join the growing list of K-pop stars venturing into the Philippine entertainment scene.
On March 20, 2025, Bo Min officially signed with Universal Records Philippines and GLXY Management in a press conference. And we're not exaggerating—he has the kind of energy that makes you want to be in the same room with him. Charming, kind, and undeniably warm, he effortlessly draws people in.

Cosmopolitan Philippines got to experience this firsthand during our short but sweet interview after the event. Despite arriving in Manila just the night before, there was no trace of exhaustion—only excitement.
Choi Bo Min is ready to make waves in the Philippines, and is set to star in an upcoming project with GMA (and if the rumors are true, Viu might just be part of the picture, too!). He's eager to explore new opportunities and express himself more as an artist, and we can't wait to see what’s next.
"Finally, I am here in the Philippines. What I want to do now is show more of Bo Min and be diverse in the country. I have a big upcoming project with GMA—a drama series. Stay tuned and please support me," he tells Cosmo.
There's a lot to expect from Bo Min when it comes to his career. Aside from becoming an actor in his own right, he'll also be making time and effort to produce an album (!) for his fans. "I'm preparing a lot of acting and even my album. I'm so excited to explore a career in the Philippines and I can't wait to do it. I'm ready," the 24-year-old South Korean celebrity said.
A big part of Bo Min's excitement for this new chapter comes from his deep gratitude for his fans. He shared how surprised and touched he was to see people waiting for him at the airport when he arrived in Manila—some even brought gifts, but more than anything, he could feel their genuine happiness just to see him in person.
"I can tell Filipino fans are very energetic. They are very friendly, kind, and lovely people," and when asked if there's anything about him that his fans would be surprised to know, Bo Min shared, "My fans probably do not know that I can play piano and violin." (That, plus acting, singing, and dancing? Such a talented man!)

After our quick interview, Bo Min eagerly played a round of fast talk with us—and yes, he was all in. His energy made our first meeting feel natural and effortless, like catching up with an old friend.
(Fun fact: Throughout the day, he never shied away from eye contact and went out of his way to thank everyone he met. It was clear he genuinely appreciated everyone's time and presence. Thanks for that, too, Bo Min!)
