Entitled "Relationships, Life, And Our Family," their sisterly talk revolved around anger, inspiration, and living a meaningful life. The sisters took turns asking each other questions.
When asked how she feels every time Julia's caught up in a controversy, Claudia responded, saying it makes her angry.
"Because I know you, and I know your heart, and I know your intentions and because
people do not understand you the way that I do," Claudia said. "Sometimes it surprises me how they can say certain things about you when they don't really know much because even when you are so publicized because of your work, it's still doesn't capture half of what you are, and that's how I feel about everyone else in the family. But then I've come to terms with it, you know? At the end of the day, I think the most important thing is that you do your job of being a good sister, a good daughter, a good friend, and you're all of those things. So everything else doesn't matter."
Things took an even more serious note when Claudia asked Julia, "Do you think you're living a meaningful life?"
Julia shared her hesitation to answer because she said she knows people will say "a lot of things" about her and contradict what she'll be saying next.
"It's scary because sometimes even if you know yourself so much––and I always say that it's important to know yourself––because no matter what people say about you, or whatever they make about you, you're never gonna believe it because you know yourself," she said.
Julia, later on, expressed that she believes she lives a meaningful life because her family is her core.
"I think in every way I can, I get to serve my siblings, and I get to serve my mother, and I get to help my family, in exchange for nothing. So I think I live a meaningful life. So whatever I could give, whatever I could share, whatever good I could put out there, I do. That's the challenge I think for the rest of my life because I want to grow old and look back and know that I really did live a full meaningful life like I was able to do something good."
Claudia got teary-eyed when she said she thinks Julia's already living a meaningful life.
"I think you are, you don't even have to wait until you're older, you know. You're not living life aimlessly," Claudia reacted. "Whatever you set your mind to, you go for it. And you work really hard, whenever [mom] needs help with anything. In every sense, you insert yourself where you think you can make someone's life better. And that's very meaningful. And you do it for us siblings too––and people don't know that. But you do that, and you're always there for us."
"Whenever you feel like you can make anyone's life easier, you do it. And you're so young. like most people I know your age or my age, they don't go through half the things we go through. Yeah, I think you're living a meaningful life so far."
In July 2019, Julia was linked to the Bea Alonzo-Gerald Anderson breakup. In October, Barretto sisters Gretchen Barretto, Marjorie Barretto, and Claudine Barretto had a string of controversial posts following a scuffle that ensued at the wake of their father, Miguel Barretto.
