Claudine Barretto Posts Pics Of Rico Yan, Calls Him 'My love and my life'

Yesterday, March 15, Claudine Barretto posted a photo collage of her late lover Rico Yan on Instagram and captioned it, “My love and my life. Always and forever,” with four broken hearts.

She followed that up with another picture that reads, “I thought of you today but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and the days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and your picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake from which I’ll never part. God has you in his arms, I have you in my heart.”

She captioned it, “In my heart every single day RY.”

In the past few years, Claudine has taken to social media to remember Rico. In 2015 and 2016, she posted photos of the love letters he wrote to her.

On March 14, 2016, when the actor would have turned 41, the actress brought him flowers at the Manila Memorial Park.

Rico would have celebrated his 44th birthday two days ago. He passed away from cardiac arrest due to acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis on March 29, 2002—he was only 27. Around that time, he and Claudine were rumored to be having intense quarrels. News also broke that the two had split up, but it’s not confirmed if the two ever had the proper closure they needed to move on.
