It’s been almost a year since Miles Ocampo and Elijah Canlas confirmed their relationship, and the couple has been making us feel *kilig* since! Case in point: Elijah just revealed how supportive they are of each other, as they would be super ~involved~ in the preparation stage of all of their projects.
“Bata pa lang yun, umaarte na yun eh,” the actor expresses his admiration for his GF. “She knows this industry inside and out. I take lessons from her, and may natututunan po ako lagi sa kanya.”
According to the actor, they would often throw lines and help each other become better actors. “We may have different goals, but we’re both in the same industry and we both love what we do so much. We’re both very passionate, me and Miles, and supportive of each other, na lahat po ng ginagawa namin, nagtutulungan talaga kami,” he says.
"Lahat ng projects ko, siya ang nagturo sa akin mag-memorize nun, siya ang ka-throw lines ko. Tapos same with her when she did Batang Quiapo. Everything she does, nagpapatulong siya talaga. We’re passionate that way and we inspire each other a lot.”
However, Elijah admits that he doesn’t want to take any credit for Miles’ hard work. “I don’t want to take any of that credit because she’s an amazing artist herself, and I’m just lucky and blessed to be part of her journey,” he shares. “Siguro dati wala siyang kabatuhan sa mga preparation niya in terms of sa mga project niya. Pero ngayon po, lahat ng projects na ginagawa namin, we read it. Honestly. Binabasa po namin yung script ng isa’t isa, and kapag may mga ideas kami, we bounce it off each other. May ganun po kaming type of relationship.”
