Ellen Adarna Shuts Down Breakup Rumors With Derek Ramsay
ICYDK, breakup rumors between Ellen and her husband Derek Ramsay have been circulating online for quite some time. Netizens noticed that Ellen was no longer following Derek on Instagram, which fuelled speculation.
The rumors were further stoked by her cryptic Instagram stories in recent weeks, where she hinted at mistreatment during postpartum. In another story, she even shared a quote that read: "You can't destroy the mother of your children and then tell me you're a good father."
Netizens couldn't help but speculate that the post is directed towards Derek and that the two have broken up.
While neither of them ever addressed it, Ellen recently posted an Instagram story—and it's a good reminder that you should not trust or believe everything you see online.

"Tigilan nyo na kami haaaaaa. Dami na fake news ekeklavooo," Ellen wrote on her Instagram story.
She also shared a screen recording to prove that she never unfollowed Derek on Instagram. As it turns out, a glitch in the app makes it appear that she isn’t following him when searched, even though she actually is.

"Sooo… I never unfollowed by husband. Ever. And I don't know what's happening here on my ig. But here you go..," the actress clarified.
"When I search his name—I'm following him. But on my following list, he's not there and I don't know what's up IG?! Ano ba talaga? Ako rin nalito nako lol," she added.

This isn't the first time Ellen and her family have been targeted by fake news. Earlier, there were malicious claims suggesting that Derek wasn’t the real father of their daughter, Liana, and that Ellen had been unfaithful.
Derek quickly put those rumors to rest and urged people to stop spreading them.
"Showbizlife stop spreading lies about my family! Lily is my daughter and Ellen is a loyal wife!! I don't know how you can sleep at night spreading lies like this!" he shared in an Instagram story.
