On May 4, EXO's leader Suho made a surprise announcement with details of his upcoming military enlistment, Soompi reports. Through a handwritten letter posted on EXO's official online fan community, the 28-year-old idol revealed he was to enlist on May 14, Thursday.
"Hello, our EXO-L. This is Suho.
I am writing this letter today because there is something I need to tell you all.
On May 14, I will be enlisting in the military to carry out my duties. I think I will really miss our EXO-L during that time.
I hope our EXO-L, who think of me and love me every day, will always be healthy. I sincerely thank you, and I love you.
We are one, EXO. Let's love."
A source from EXO's agency, SM Entertainment, confirmed the news and announced that the time and location of his enlistment will not be made public.
Suho will be the third member of the group to enlist in the military after Xiumin and D.O.
