Two-time Tony Award nominee Eva Noblezada stars in the critically acclaimed film, Yellow Rose, which tells the story of a Filipino girl from Texas as she pursues her dreams of becoming a country singer amidst threats of deportation.
Written and directed by Diane Paragas, Yellow Rose has several accolades under its belt, including a Grand Jury Prize for Best Narrative Feature at the 2019 Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival, where Eva also won Best Breakout Actor, and a Grand Jury Prize for Best Narrative Feature at the 2019 Bentonville Film Festival and 2019 CAAMFest.
Taking over 15 years to make, Diane said, “It couldn’t come at a more important time when anti-immigrant sentiment is at an all-time high. This is a story for everyone facing challenges in finding their voice, their dreams, and more importantly, their home.”
Eva's acting credits include the Broadway revival of Miss Saigon where she played Kim, as well as the West End production of Les Miserables.
