Lee Joon Gi oppa is back, you guys! We last saw him in Hotel Del Luna when he made a cameo as a priest, and we all gushed over his cutest Scarlet Heart exchange with IU. Joon Gi's new drama, Flower Of Evil, is a suspense thriller, and we honestly can't wait to watch it. Here's everything we know about the show so far:

1. He'll be playing the role of a dad with more than a few secrets.

According to Soompi, the drama is based on this question: "What if the husband I've loved for 14 years is actually a stone-cold serial killer?" This series tells the story of Baek Hee Sung (Joon Gi), a man who changes his identity and *successfully* hides his past. Years later, he is happily married with a kid and works as a metal craftsman

In an interview, Joon Gi shared that his character has two extremes—he can be a caring father and also a cold-hearted character.

2. He's starring opposite Moon Chae Won.

She plays the role of Hee Sung's wife Cha Ji Won, who works as a homicide detective and begins to grow suspicious of her husband. The couple soon finds themselves "in front of a truth they don't wish to face." Child actress Jung Seo Yeon will be playing the role of their daughter Baek Eun Ha

In a recent interview with GQ Korea, Joon Gi shared: "Moon Chae Won is quiet and serious, so she's the complete opposite of me. Thanks to that, it was a big help in constructing my character."

3. Joon Gi and Chae Won actually worked together before!

They appeared in the 2017 tvN drama Criminal Minds, which is based on the American TV series of the same name. Their roles were both agents of a fictional National Criminal Investigation (NCI) team.

4. Flower Of Evil will be available on Viu.

The show's premiere episode will be aired on July 22 in South Korea and will run for 16 episodes. On June 23, Viu Philippines announced that it will be available for streaming soon.
