Remember when the Cosmopolitan Philippines team watched the Game of Thrones Season 8 premiere in April? The GoT fans among us had so many feels, crazy expectations, and theories! Can you believe the series actually ended? Nope, right? Neither can we!

***SPOILERS AHEAD***

Here are the Cosmo Editors' reactions + selfies after watching GoT's last episode ever:

What a ride!!!

What were your expectations for the series finale?

Like most viewers, I expected (or really hoped) that Jon Snow would rule the Seven Kingdoms. What NO ONE EXPECTED was for Bran (aka the Broken) to get the title. It was definitely a huge plot twist for me!

What scene stood out the most for you in the series finale?

There were so many beautifully shot scenes in the finale (Tyrion finding Jaime and Cersei's bodies under a pile of bricks + Jon holding Dany's corpse with the Iron Throne behind them), but what I really loved was the Stark montage at the end. We see Sansa being rightfully crowned as Queen in the North, Arya off to discover what lies beyond Westeros, and Jon leaving everything behind and living totally free with the Wildlings.

You know what? I am. I appreciate how the showrunners still managed to surprise us viewers in spite of the criticism on "how it's supposed to be written." It is what it is, and GoT is still one of the best damn shows ever to be made.

How will you move on from a GoT-less world?

Can we really live a GoT-less world knowing there's a prequel in the works (which I will 100 percent watch)? But while it has yet to be aired, now's my chance to finally read the book series! I know there are so many stories and arcs I've yet to discover through George RR Martin's books and it only excites me!

Crazy, annoying, and sad.

What were your expectations for the series finale?

Like every GoT season finale since Season 1, I expected this series finale to be full of emotions. But unlike the show's past finales, I expected this one to be divisive because it's the last episode EVER, and aren't all series finales like that? I don't think I've ever watched a series finale that perfectly stuck the landing. I knew there would be haters and lovers—I ended up being in the middle.

I totally understand why Dany had to die (girl was slowly but surely going mad-hungry for world domination). I just wish it happened in the fifth episode. Usually, tragic character deaths on Game of Thrones happen in "Episode 9" (or the second to the last episode of the season). But since there was no ninth episode this season, the fifth could be considered its replacement. What I liked about this OG setup is it allowed the actual last episode of the season to wrap everything up nicely and put future storylines into motion. So if Dany had died in the fifth episode, I feel like this finale wouldn't have felt that rushed. I mean they literally had a TIME JUMPthat never happens in Game of Thrones; that's reserved for soap operas and teen dramas!

Anyway, I never in 84 years expected Bran Motherfucking Stark to become the First of His Name, Lord of the Six Kingdoms, and Protector of the Realm. The dude disappeared for an entire season, peace-d out during The Long Night, and yet they placed a crown on his head?

Side note: I also never thought in another 84 years that the breastfeeding Lord of the Vale in Season 1 would turn into a ~snack~. OMG?!?! It was all I could talk about after the episode ended!

What scene stood out the most for you in the series finale?

There were two: One, Sansa being crowned the Queen in the North. Her dress! Her hair! Her crown! People cheering for her! It would've been a million times better if this were happening in King's Landing. The second scene was when Jon FINALLY hugged and petted Ghost. The poor bb finally got the much-needed love he deserved after protecting Winterfell and killing all those wights.

Be honest, are you satisfied with the ending?

Yes and no. I wish there had been more time to explore other characters' fates, not just the Starks. I mean, Edmure Tully appeared out of nowhere. What happened to his wife (who is a Frey, FYI) and his son? What about Gendry? Did all the lords of Storm's End just bow down to him without having an official document signed by Daenerys that states he's been legitimized? And if Daenerys was never really a queen, was his legitimacy still valid? Since when did Robin Arryn turn into a snack? Where did the new Prince of Dorne come from? I was always under the impression Ellaria and the Sand Snakes killed every Martell. I have so many questions that I hope the to-be-released books will answer.

The look of someone who's tired, disappointed, but also happy. It was a confusing hour, okay? Tisha Caedo

How will you move on from a GoT-less world?

I won't be moving on. A prequel is in the works so I'm praying to the old gods and the new that it will be as successful as this one. Plus, I'm still waiting for the last two books in the A Song of Ice and Fire series. I'm pretty sure some plot points in the show will be the same in the books, but the characters there are just a lot different than the show counterparts that I've considered them to be part of a different Westeros universe.

Oh. Okay. Cool.

What were your expectations for the series finale?

Before I clicked the "play" button, I wondered how my next Mondays will be like, knowing that there won't be any Game of Thrones show to look forward to. I will miss (maybe not) avoiding social media on Mondays so I don't see spoilers. I will miss processing every episode with other GoT fans.

What scene stood out the most for you in the series finale?

The most touching scene for me was when Drogon tried to wake up his mama Dany. I thought of my dog and myself—I shed a tear. It must be hard for loverboy (and nephew) Jon, but it had to be done.

As for Bran being crowned the king—I still can't believe it. I think it was because he KNEW what would happen in the future. I know he's a keeper of Westeros' history, but IDK. I still haven't forgiven him for leaving Theon Greyjoy alone when he protected him from the Night King.

Be honest, are you satisfied with the ending?

I'm a bit disappointed that Jon's Targaryen lineage wasn't communicated to the public. But I guess this was fine because royal bloodlines weren't relevant anymore. The best thing about the ending is when he FINALLY pets Ghost. But overall, seeing all the Starks get all the closure they deserve, I think I am going to be okay. It's just fiction, after all!

How will you move on from a GoT-less world?

I still don't know yet! I'll probably watch other shows that are far from what GoT was—those that don't involve bloody deaths and surprising twists.

Rushed, ridiculous, and soft.

What were your expectations for the series finale?

Given the previous five episodes, I didn't expect too much from the final one. It still made me anxious before watching, because this is the last episode!

What scene stood out the most for you in the series finale?

The scene that really stood out the most for me was when Daenerys descended from Drogon and its wings flew upwards behind her. It was really powerful and a bit terrifying. I loved this aesthetically shot scene. Props as well to the amazing scoring of the whole episode.

Be honest, are you satisfied with the ending?

Even though it seems like the final episode can birth three more episodes (even another season!), I'll just try to accept how it is. There's just too much to explore, and some major scenes felt like fleeting moments. Although it felt "squished," I love how everything was bittersweet in the end. Imagine how ~glowing~ everyone would look now that all the tyrants are dead, right?

I feel like I could never move on! I'm planning to re-watch the entire series soon!

What were your expectations for the series finale?

I was expecting closure for all the main characters, and I think the episode gave that to us.

What scene stood out the most for you in the series finale?

My favorite scene was Dany's speech, how she transformed into an untouchable ruler who's full of bloodlust, and how Jon knew he couldn't do anything to change her.

Be honest, are you satisfied with the ending?

I'm satisfied with how everything turned out, but I can't say I'm pleased with how we got there. Drogon flying to the horizon is such a cliche.

Stranger Things will help me move on from GoT.

WHAT. WAS. THAT?!

What were your expectations for the series finale?

That Bran WOULD NOT be king—he's my least favorite character. That there would be hidden dragon eggs somewhere. That—gasp!—there would be a pregnancy! That Dany would AT LEAST literally get to sit on the Iron Throne (she just touched it, LOL).

What scene stood out the most for you in the series finale?

I felt numb for most of the episode except for two scenes that made me tear up: 1) When Drogon was trying to wake up dead Dany, and 2) When Ghost got the boop he deserved from Jon Snow.

My GoT finale snack, before and after. The "after" photo looks as sad as my feelings after Drogon flew away with his mama. Jillian gatcheco

Be honest, are you satisfied with the ending?

NOPE. I would have appreciated a violent cliffhanger over this annoyingly calm ending that "tried" to tie loose ends (it didn't). My sweet, sweet Jorah is turning over in his grave. He died for nothing.

How will you move on from a GoT-less world?

I can't. I've been watching this GIF over and over again:
