Gigi Hadid Clapped Back At Her Fans For Their 'Unrealistic Expectations' And 'Petty Complaining'

Hello! Welcome to the most awkward and uncomfy day if you run a Gigi Hadid fan account! You see, even though Gigi has a ton of stans, sometimes they can be a little mean and critique her for things that are totally subjective. This time, her own fans dragged her for some recent fashion choices and she’s had just about enough of that and clapped back at a bunch of them. Which, what a weird feeling to be a fan and have your favorite celebrity be pissed at you, but that’s the current climate in stanland.

On Tuesday, the model went out wearing leggings, sneakers, and a puffer coat. Objectively: She looked cool. In fact, she looked cooler than anyone who ever went to run a quick errand. But one account saw the pictures and tweeted, “She’s such a natural beauty…IDK what happened to her iconic street style tho.” (The tweet has been deleted, BTW.)

Another added, “What happened is called Mimi,” referencing Gigi’s stylist, Mimi Cuttrell.

Well, Gigi saw their tweets and promptly proceeded to drag them and basically tell them to get a life. She wrote:

“U guys need to calm tf down sometimes. It’s called stepping out to do one errand- not dressing for your approval. Your unrealistic expectations & petty complaining all the time about my style or not being sexy enough isn’t going to make me dress differently.”

And then followed it up with:

“Not just talking about this specific comment. U all talk about empowering women. I support and empower women that show skin and that don’t. It’s about choice. I show skin when I want to and still feel sexy covered head to toe & will continue to do so. Over the snarky comments.”

She’s right, though!
