The film’s story revolves around businessman Abet, played by TJ, who experiences a sudden loss that leads him to spiral. He meets Happy, played by Glaiza, who brings joy back into his life. But unbeknownst to Abet, Happy is also facing her own struggles with mental illness.
Taking three years to make, My Letters To Happy hopes to create a conversation to help break the stigma associated with mental health.
Glaiza, who shared the movie’s poster on Instagram, said, “It's been a while since I acted in a love story and I realized how good but heart-rending it is. Learned so much about the things you need to compromise, work on, and accept in a relationship.”
My Letters To Happy is slated for release on July 17.
