Buckingham Palace and Queen Elizabeth have finally arrived at a final decision regarding Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle's royal appointments a week after personally meeting down to talk about the issue.

According to the new agreement, both Harry and Meghan will drop their His/Her Royal Highness titles and step back from Royal duties, including official military appointments. They will also no longer receive funds from being "working royals."

The pair, however, will continue to hold their Duke and Duchess titles and continue pursuing their private patronages and associations. Though they will no longer formally represent The Queen, the couple has made it clear that everything they will do moving forward will continue to uphold the value of Her Majesty. Harry, however, will continue holding his title of Prince and will remain to be sixth in the line of succession.

Queen Elizabeth also expressed her continuous support for the two: "Following many months of conversations and more recent discussions, I am pleased that together we have found a constructive and supportive way forward for my grandson and his family."

The couple will continue paying for the running costs of the cottage privately.

Earlier in January, Harry and Meghan expressed that they plan to be financially dependent when they step back from their royal duties. They will also be splitting their time between North America and the United Kingdom.
