Jake Ejercito, son of ex-President and current Manila Mayor Joseph Ejercito Estrada, was vocal about his opposition to the recent Supreme Court ruling allowing the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos to be buried at the Libingan Ng Mga Bayani.
Posting a pic of the book Bayan Ko on Instagram, Jake wrote: "Body may be buried, but not the truth."
One of Jake’s followers, however, called him out for publishing the post because he’s known to be good friends with Sandro Marcos, grandson of Ferdinand Marcos:
“Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion and I respect that but it’s just that seeing you post this while hanging out once in a while with Sandro Marcos in London is kinda off… just saying.” [via ABS-CBN]
Jake responded to the commenter saying, “Real friendships go beyond politics.”
