ICYDK, James Reid and MOMOLAND’s Nancy McDonie are teaming up for an upcoming TV series called Soulmate that is set to be directed by Antoinette Jadaone.
While the news got everyone excited, it’s also common practice to combine two stars’ names together once they form an on-screen tandem. Even ABS-CBN asked its Twitter users what James and Nancy’s love team should be called:
Different folks on Twitter threw out ship name suggestions like “JamCy” and “JaNancy,” but James quickly shot down the idea of a name with just one tweet, which, as of this writing, has over 46,000 likes.
The actor, who is also Nadine Lustre’s real-life sweetheart had this to say: “I’m honored to be part of the new project Soulmate on ABS-CBN but please guys, no love team names. I’ve already got one #JaDine.”
