Two years into their relationship, Janine Gutierrez and Jericho Rosales seem to be happier than ever. The two started dating in 2024 after falling for each other while working together on Lavender Fields. As they say, time really flies when you're having fun—and that seems to be what's happening with this couple.

While guesting on Kylie Verzosa's podcast Almost Honest, Janine shared that Jericho turned out to be everything she had been hoping for in a partner—and it all started with a list she made herself. "This is funny, but I wrote down a list of characteristics before of what I wanted my future partner to be like," she said. "And then when I met Echo, first time meeting him and hanging out with him alone, I was like, 'Oh my gosh, siya lahat 'to.' So feeling ko nag-work talaga yung writing down."

As cute as the story sounds, Janine said the list had a bigger purpose—it helped her stay clear about her standards. "I just wrote down a list so that I won't settle for any less. And then when I met him, I was like, 'Wow, Jesus heard me,'" she shared. So even before Jericho came into the picture, Janine already knew what she wanted in a relationship.

The couple recently wrapped filming Loyalty Game, a Prime Video series where Janine's character Ana enlists loyalty tester Beth (Sofia Andres) to find out whether her husband Ben (Jericho) is being unfaithful.

During the podcast, Janine admitted that the whole idea of "loyalty testing" was completely new to her. "Apparently, it's a real thing. Kasi nung pinitch sa'kin yung show, I wasn't aware of this phenomenon," she said. She explains that there are now people online offering services through so-called "loyalty tester groups," where they message your partner on your behalf and send screenshots of the conversation to reveal how they respond.

For Janine, it also reflects how relationships have changed in the age of social media. "I feel like it's easier to catch someone who's being unfaithful," she said. "It changed the landscape now of what cheating is or where is the line for you and your partner?"

Thankfully, it's not something she worries about in her own relationship. Speaking to Kylie, Janine shared, "I think we're lucky 'cause we are with secure men."

In an Instagram post, Janine also celebrated Loyalty Game as her second series during her 15th year in the industry—and gave a special shoutout to Jericho, who's marking an incredible 30 years in showbiz.

She wrote, "Celebrating that The Loyalty Game is my 1st of 2 series on my 15th year in the industry and @jerichorosalesofficial THIRTIETH YEAR!!!!!!! 30TH!!!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 so grateful I get to do this with you 🩶 and so grateful to everyone who made this possible."

And if you needed one more reason to swoon over these two, the couple had everyone smiling at the Binibining Pilipinas 2026 coronation night on July 18. While Janine sat at the judges' table, Jericho serenaded her with SunKissed Lola's hit "Pasilyo" as one of the night's guest performers. Mid-song, he even walked down from the stage to hold her hand—a simple gesture that quickly became one of the night's sweetest highlights.
