Aww, Jericho Rosales And Janine Gutierrez Just Reached A Major(!) Relationship Milestone

ICYMI: It's officially been a year since Cosmopolitan Philippines cover stars Jericho Rosales and Janine Gutierrez started dating each other—and revealed their relationship to the world!

In an Instagram Reel, Jericho shared clips of a beach trip with Janine that gave us all the feels. "One year and one day with this one," Jericho captioned. 

In response, Janine commented: "Hahahha baba!!!!! The best time with you!!! Happy anniversary, I love youuuuu."

ICYDK, Jericho and Janine went public in August 2024. Even before confirming it, though, rumors about their relationship started to surface when they were spotted casually hanging out at a museum in Manila earlier that year.

Since then, the couple has been sharing sweet milestones, especially their memorable firsts. In December 2024, they went on an out-of-the-country trip together, which Janine documented in a YouTube vlog. 

They went to Japan for the Tokyo International Film Festival, and it gave fans the first off-camera glimpse of how they interact with each other. Aside from work, they also made sure to do a food trip and discover new bites.

"I am here because I want to let everyone know how amazing you [Janine] are at finding great restaurants. Like, so fast, so quick—we ate at so many restaurants. I am guesting on her channel... just because, just for fun," Jericho said.

Janine and Jericho first built their friendship while working together on the teleserye, Lavender Fields. For many, being in the same field as your partner may be tricky, but in an earlier interview, Jericho also explained why working with Janine works so well. 

"We both respect our craft. Siyempre, palagi kaming ganadung-ganado," Jericho shared. 

"Minsan nga natitigilan kami. Kasi minsan kaming dalawa na lang ang gising, kaming dalawa na lang ang nag-uusap tungkol sa eksenang gagawin naming dalawa… Parang ganun kasi, unang-una, mahal namin yung isa't isa," he added.

Time really flies, and looking back, it's funny how Jericho once thought a relationship with Janine might not even work out. In an interview with journalist Karen Davila, he revealed that he almost didn't pursue her because he thought she was only 24 years old.

"I Google, Google, Google, Google... Oh, okay pwede pala. Pwede pa pala," he shared after finding out that Janine is already in her 30s.
