Kang Daniel made history as the first K-pop solo artist to be featured in the Grammy signature performance series, Press Play At Home.
The former Wanna One member prepared a special performance of "Antidote", the lead single of his 2021 album Yellow.
"Within the first 30 seconds of his Press Play At Home performance, Kang Daniel's intentions for the episode seemed clear. He wanted to put on an unforgettable show," the Recording Academy released a statement.
According to a Soompi article, Daniel is also set to release new music in May. This will be his first comeback since wrapping up the color trilogy of albums with Yellow last year.
Following the end of Wanna One's group activities, Daniel established his own agency, Konnect Entertainment, in 2019. Aside from being a solo artist, he has also been active as an actor and a host.
Other K-pop acts who appeared in the Press Play At Home series include popular boy groups BTS and SEVENTEEN.
