Kang Daniel is cancelling his upcoming comeback activities due to an injury.
Daniel's agency, KONNECT Entertainment, announced that the K-pop soloist was diagnosed with a herniated disc, saying, "On May 2, Kang Daniel visited the hospital as soon as the music show ended due to back pain, and as a result, he was diagnosed with a herniated disc, and the medical professional said that he needed to take plenty of rest.”
A separate notice in Kang Daniel's official fan cafe informed DANITY (Kang Daniel's fandom name) of the cancellation of the idol's upcoming music show appearances.
"The main broadcast of Show Music Core on June 4, Inkigayo on June 5, and the fan signing event will also be cancelled."
They added, "Once again, we apologize for causing concern to fans due to the sudden news and we will do our best to help the artist recover quickly."
Daniel recently made a comeback with his first full-length album The Story and the lead single "Upside Down."
