After being away from the spotlight for almost three looong years, Korean actor Kim Woo Bin held a fan meet on December 8! It was called "2019 Kim Woo Bin Thank You" and was held at the SMTOWN theater in Seoul, South Korea.
Soompi reports that at the end of the program, Woo Bin said, "I've been waiting for this moment to meet fans for the first time in about three years. It was even warmer, more fun, and more joyful than I thought it would be. I wanted to share lots of stories with all of you since it had been so long, but I don't know if they reached you properly. From now on, I will greet you more often and share my news. Thank you so much for your valuable time."
Here are a few photos from the event, which were reposted by fans:
There's more: Woo Bin actively took part in planning the event and all profits from the fan meet were reportedly donated to help children with cancer. Awww, our hearts!
In May 2017, Woo Bin was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer and he halted all of his activities and projects to focus on treatment and recovery.
On November 21, 2019, Woo Bin made his first public appearance since his hiatus at the 40th Blue Dragon Film Awards—as a presenter. He even made a short speech to thank everyone! It was honestly the *comeback* all of us were waiting for. Please come to the PH next, Woo Bin!
