Exes can be friends—but exes genuinely celebrating each other's new relationships? That's something truly rare. And when it happens, all you can feel is warmth, love, and happiness. Case in point: Kylie Verzosa towards her ex-BF Jake Cuenca and Jake's current girlfriend, Chie Filomeno.
ICYMI: Chie's recently shared some post-ABS-CBN Ball 2025 snaps which included pics of her with Jake as her date. In that specific post, Kylie commented, "Happy for you guys *white heart emoji*"
Kylie's comment garnered over 37,000 likes and hundreds of comments saying how much they love Kylie's "non-toxic" behavior towards Jake and Chie. Among those comments, we found Chie replying back to Kylie with the sweetest response, too. Chie said, "Thank you, Kylie! Happy for you as well. *white heart and sparkle emojis*"
ICYDK, Kylie is also happily in a relationship with her non-showbiz partner—but she's keeping things private and low-key atm. Meanwhile, Jake and Chie had previously revealed their relationship in August 2023. Since then, Jake and Chie have shown their sweetness and love for each other through cute pics online or the occasional IG comments.

Kylie Verzosa and Jake Cuenca's past romance
Kylie and Jake were together for three years before they announced their split in April 2022. At the time, the ex-couple didn't disclose the exact reason for their breakup. But it sure looked like it was a really painful separation after their individual post-breakup interviews circulated.
In a September 2022 interview, Kylie noted that she never had bad blood with Jake. However, she also revealed that they paused their communication following their separation. "[I'm] doing much better, happy ako. Sana tuloy-tuloy. 'Di ko masasabi na 100 percent naka-move on, pero getting there sana," she said.
On the other hand, Jake actually went viral for a "crying selfie" that he uploaded months after his breakup with Kylie. In an interview with Boy Abunda, the actor expressed how he decided to "go through the pain," noting that there are some things that he wanted to resolve in his life. Without mentioning Kylie as well, Jake pointed out not regretting anything in love.
"When it comes to love, you can't really regret things. When it was there, it made me very happy. Now that it's not there, I can't hate it or I can’t get mad at it. I can only just look back at it with joy but it also makes me sad since it's not there anymore," Jake stated.
