ICYMI: Chie Filomeno is currently in South Korea to celebrate the holidays. Between chowing down on some good food and visiting scenic spots, the 28-year-old actress managed to squeeze in one more thing in her itinerary: get not just one, but three (!) new tattoos.
Chie Filomeno Gets Three New Tattoos To Celebrate The New Year
On Instagram, Chie wrote, "Ending the year with three new tattoos," and tagged the tattoo artist. She posted a picture of her new tattoos: a coquette-inspired ribbon, a bowl of ramen, and a mini bouquet of flowers. This brings her total ink count to 11!
For the tattoo of the bowl of ramen, Chie had it placed on the back of her left shoulder, while the mini bouquet of flowers was situated behind her arm.
If you have low pain tolerance, the latter is generally an okay placement since there is usually more "fat" that can act as a cushion. Behind the shoulder is a different story, though—the area is bonier, so there might be more pain involved. But as always, YMMV!

As for the ribbon, Chie got it on her nape, which is said to be an area with thinner skin and more nerve endings (a.k.a. it's more painful to be tattooed on), so props to her! Similar to her flower bouquet tattoo, this one is also colored, which means that it requires more care and maintenance. If you want colored ink, you have to regularly go back to your tattoo artist for touch-ups to ensure that it stays looking fresh.
