Meet Lashana Lynch, The First Black And Female 007 In The New 'James Bond' Movie

It looks like we'll soon be feasting our eyes on the very first black and female 007 in the new James Bond movie.

British actress Lashana Lynch has been cast to play the pivotal role in the franchise's 25th movie. Wow! 

According to a report by The Independent, Lashana will play the role of an agent who needs to track James Bond (still played by Daniel Craig) down to bring him out of retirement.

A source told The Independent, “There is a pivotal scene at the start of the film where M says, ‘Come in 007,’ and in walks Lashana who is black, beautiful, and a woman. It’s a popcorn-dropping moment. Bond is still Bond but he’s been replaced as 007 by this stunning woman."

Lashana appeared in the Captain Marvel movie as a fighter pilot named Maria Rambeau.
