Liza Soberano On Her Index Finger Injury: 'It will never function the same way again'

Liza Soberano just had another operation to fix her index finger which the actress fractured while filming the fantasy series Bagani in 2018. The incident led Liza to withdraw from playing the role of Darna.

On Instagram, Liza shared an update on her newly-operated index finger on July 6. The actress, who included a warning that her post contains graphic content wrote, “Finally done with my last procedure in hopes of fixing my finger. Unfortunately, it will never function the same way again but at least it’s there!”

Liza has had two operations done on her index finger since receiving her first one in November 2018. In June 2019, Liza revealed that she has a bone infection and said on an Instagram post, “No one is to blame for the infection; it just happens sometimes. So now I’m taking antibiotics through a PICC (peripherally inserted central catheter) line on my left arm. As soon as my infection is clear, I will have my second (and possibly third) surgery.”
