Matteo Guidicelli didn't miss the chance to dedicate a sweet shoutout to wife Sarah Geronimo for their first wedding anniversary last February 20. The actor posted the message on Instagram together with a photo of them and their dogs.
"Love, HAPPY 1st year anniversary!! Look at our family! Thank you for bringing joy to our home, you are the reason why I smile when we wake up. You continue to inspire me every day and I just love celebrating life with you. So proud of you my love! I love you forever. #proudhusband #blessed"
The two surprised everyone last year when they tied the knot in a secret wedding ceremony held at Victory Church in Bonifacio Global City. The pair have been living in bliss ever since despite the controversy that surrounded their union.
Matteo, for one, has been very vocal about his happiness. He even shared that getting married is one of the best things that has ever happened to him.
"I recommend marriage to everybody as long as you found the right person in your life. As long as you found that person that you feel you can grow old and spend the rest of your life with. That’s very, very important. I’m not saying everything is perfect, but I think that’s life. You go through the thick and thin holes in life."
He also expressed last year that he and Sarah are enjoying their time as newlyweds so they aren’t in a rush to have a baby.
"Enjoy muna kami. First time kami magkasama, e."
