OMG! Did You Know That Maureen Wroblewitz Auditioned For The "Off-Campus" TV Series?

Maureen Wroblewitz is best known for winning Asia's Next Top Model Season 5 and finishing as first runner-up in Miss Universe Philippines 2021 while representing Pangasinan. But beyond modeling and content creation, Maureen is now adding another milestone to her growing list of achievements: acting.

Recently, the Filipina-German model and content creator opened up about one of the biggest decisions she has made in her career so far—auditioning for the lead role of Hannah Wells in the American television adaptation of Off Campus.

"This is soooo out of my comfort zone to post (I might delete lol)," Maureen wrote. "I haven't been sharing this side of my journey online, but maybe I should be more open about this," she added.

Just ICYDK, Off Campus is a college romance series that follows the story of a music student (Hannah Wells) and Briar University’s star hockey player (Garrett Graham) as their relationship unfolds on campus. The series is based on the bestselling romance novels written by Elle Kennedy and is currently available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

The audition for the lead role took place in February 2025, with one of the hopefuls being Maureen herself. The model and content creator submitted an audition tape where she delivered lines as protagonist Hannah Wells. 

Although the role eventually went to British-American actress Ella Bright, Maureen remains grateful for the opportunity, sharing that the experience pushed her beyond her comfort zone and allowed her to explore a new side of herself creatively.

"My journey into acting has led me to explore various roles and challenges. Sharing this audition for Off Campus is a testament to that exploration. The experience of preparing and performing this self-tape has been incredibly insightful, pushing my boundaries and allowing me to connect with the character of Hannah," she shared.

Fans are already looking forward to what's next for Maureen as she slowly ventures into acting. Many supporters admired her willingness to step outside her comfort zone and explore a completely different field.

Adding to the excitement, Maureen recently hinted that more projects may already be on the horizon. In the comments section of one of her posts, a fan asked whether she got the role of Hannah Wells. Maureen candidly responded, "Someone else did already 🥹 the show is out! But my show is coming soon 🤭🤞🏽."
