Meet The VOIZBoys

Check out the all-male singing group composed of cuties Tom Rodriguez, Guji Lorenzana, Jay-R Siaboc, and Nico Antonio!

There's a new Pinoy all-male singing group to watch for, and they're called VOIZBoys. At the launch of their debut album Fusion, the boys sang ballads, which is the primary genre they perform, and did some rap and a capella numbers. According to one of the VOIZBoys members, Guji Lorenzana, this is how they showcase their difference from other local singing groups.

He told Cosmo.ph, "We really want to work, we really want to show na we have talent, we could sing. Kaya sinasabi ko sa kanila na dapat sa mga performance na ganito, dapat we should do a capella, beatboxing. We should show na we're versatile as a group."

Although each member has his own music preference—Guji and Jay-R Siaboc are into rock, Nico Antonio is into ballads, and Tom Rodriguez is into pop—and personal gigs on the side, they still work as a team during their performances.

Guji also added that each member tries to familiarize fellow VOIZBoys members with other genres of music. He said, "There are times na mahirap din kasi bago pa si Nico at si Tom sa ganitong type of music (rock), e. Ako, galing ako sa a capella group, so I try to help them naman in some aspects of music."

VOIZBoys's Fusion is a 10-track album released under Quantum Records and distributed by Star Records.

It consists of group songs and four solo numbers—seven of which are originals while three are revivals. It also includes two new Vehnee Saturno compositions, "Sinta" and "Kakaiba Ka." It also has Joven Tan's "Todo Na," Tom's solo "Pwede Na," Yugel Losorata's "Stop the World," Lucien Letaba's "Anghel Ko," and Jojo Panaligan's "In Love Again."

The album will also have "You and Me" and "Maria Clara" by Mon Villanueva of The Rainmakers, a song by Louie Ocampo, and Ogie Alcasid's "Sana'y Malaman Mo."
