The Director And Producer Of The Korean 'Miracle In Cell No. 7' Movie Attended The Philippine Premiere

Aga Muhlach said he'd love to work with the Korean director.

It was definitely an unforgettable moment for the cast and team behind the Philippine remake of the Korean movie Miracle In Cell No. 7.

That's because the original film's director Lee Hwan Kyung and producer Kim Min Ki were actually present at the Philippine red carpet premiere to show their support for the Filipino adaptation.

Lee Hwan Kyung revealed how moved he was with Aga Muhlach's acting just from watching the trailer. Wow!

Aga, who plays a mentally-challenged man wrongfully imprisoned for murder, shared how he'd love to work with the Korean director.

"I hope also to work with him, [for him] to direct me one day," Aga said.

He also suggested that an original Filipino movie be adapted to a Korean version, saying, "To do an original for the Philippines and for Korea. We start first here and then we will show it in Korea also."

Miracle In Cell No. 7, which is an entry to the 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival, starts showing in theaters on December 25.
