Nadine Lustre is one of the fan favorites to replace Liza Soberano as Darna in the upcoming remake. While she has said that she’s open to playing the iconic role, this video takes it to the next level.
Singer and vlogger Donnalyn Bartolome convinces Nadine to shout “Darna!” on cam. After some hesitation (“No! Ina-avoid ko nga ito e!”), a laughing Nadine says she’ll do it for Donnalyn. With Donnalyn playing sidekick Ding and a piece of popcorn serving as the magical stone, Nadine tweaks Darna’s catchphrase: “Donnalyn, ang bato! Darna!”
