Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry recently broke off their year-long relationship in February 2017. Their split was far from dramatic and toxic (well, for all we know), with Katy even tweeting:
HOW BOUT A NEW WAY OF THINKING FOR 2017??U can still b friends & love ur former partners! No one's a victim or a villain, get a life y'all!????

While the two are said to remain friendly with each other, Orlando finally opened up about his most recent heartache. In an exclusive interview with Elle UK, the British actor spoke about Katy (without mentioning her name, mind you) and their relationship:
"We're friends. It's good. We're all grown-up. She happens to be someone who is very visible, but I don't think anybody cares what I'm up to. Nor should they. It's between us. It's better to set an example for kids and show that [breakups] don't have to be about hate."
Orlando also only had kind words to say about his supermodel ex-wife Miranda Kerr, whom he shares a six-year-old son with, in the same interview:
"With Miranda, there was a sense that I don't want my son to go back through the internet where people have made up lies [about us].
Adding, "Miranda and I have a remarkable relationship. We co-parent really well."
