2019 hit South Korean thriller Parasite took the world by storm last year and has been winning awards right and left. At this year's Golden Globe Awards, cast members Lee Jeong Eun, Cho Yeo Jeong, and Song Kang Ho walked the red carpet, and we just wish the whole cast was there because Parasite just won Best Foreign Language Film!
During his acceptance speech, director Bong Joon Ho said, "Once you overcome the one-inch-tall barrier of subtitles, you will be introduced to so many more amazing films. Just being nominated along with fellow amazing international filmmakers was a huge honor."
He added: "I think we use only one language: The cinema." Cheers to that!
Parasite tells the story of the ~dirt~ poor Kim family whose members grab the *opportunity of a lifetime* when their son is hired as an English tutor for the wealthy Parks' daughter. They create elaborate new identities and tell a bunch of lies just to *infiltrate* the Park family and get what they want!
