Parasite, Bong Joon Ho's thriller/dark comedy film, just made MAJOR history at this year's Academy Awards! The film won Best Original Screenplay, Best International Feature Film, Best Director, AND BEST PICTURE. WOW, I literally want to stand up and give the whole cast and crew several rounds of applause right now. It's the first non-English language film to win the coveted Best Picture award!

During his Best Director acceptance speech, a *flustered* Bong Joon Ho said: "After winning Best International Feature, I thought I was done for the day and was ready to relax." He gave a special shoutout to directors Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino, and even joked, "Thank you. I will drink until next morning."

And then, a few minutes later, the film won Best Picture!

Parasite was nominated for *six* Oscars this yearBest International Feature Film, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, Best Production Design, Best Film Editing, and Best Picture.
