I'm sure most of us were already ~holding back tears~ just by watching the first trailer of Viva Films' Miracle In Cell No. 7 remake. Well, you can take that a step further and cry for real because we found out that Viva has also published a novel adaptation of the movie! The book is available in leading bookstores for less than P200

Based on the 2013 Korean movie of the same name, Miracle In Cell No. 7 tells the story of Lito (Aga Muhlach), a mentally-ill man who is wrongfully imprisoned for the murder of a child. He befriends his fellow inmates and they help him formulate a plan to smuggle his young daughter Yesha (Xia Vigor) INTO prison so that they can be reunited! Years later, a grown-up Yesha (Bela Padilla), who is now a lawyer, is determined to prove her father's innocence in court.

ABS-CBN reports that in creating the movie, the hardest challenge was finding a location for the actual "cell." Because most prison cells in the city are crowded, Viva Films decided to create a prison set in Cainta, Rizal, which took two months to build.
