Rhaila Tomakin is definitely single and just friends with Kobe Paras. That's her clear statement to the public.
Weeks after Kyline Alcantara and Kobe's split broke the internet, Rhaila is here to clear the air—and her name. The O/C Records artist has been tagged as the alleged third party in Kobe and Kyline's relationship. The allegations came when photos of her and Kobe together in Bali, Indonesia circulated online.
"Kobe is such a great guy and a very good friend, but that's about it," she declared during a press meet video posted by her music label, O/C Records. Addressing the intrigue surrounding her group trip with Kobe in Bali, she added, "I wasn't trying to insert myself or hurt anyone's feelings. It was just a matter of same place, same time—we had a simple moment. I don't read too much into it. That was simply it."
Rhaila shuts down speculations that she came between the former celebrity couple. After all, Rhaila says the two broke up way before their Bali trip. "In my knowledge, before Bali, they were long broken up. That's to my knowledge," she stated in a video uploaded by ABS-CBN News.
With that, Rhaila affirms that she's very single at the moment and ready to mingle. However, when asked if there's a chance between the two of them, in the case that Kobe pursues her, Rhaila responds with openness.
"I don't think you should ever say no to anything. If it's God's will, it's God's will," she said. She furthered by saying that she still has a lot to do, especially now with her career. "For me personally, I just want to focus on my career. I'm about to start schooling, I'm very business-minded. I just wanna delve into that world of working."

Rhaila Tomakin's message for Kyline Alcantara
Rhaila has also expressed her understanding and connection with Kyline as a woman. Although she doesn't personally know the Kapuso actress, Rhaila wanted nothing for Kyline but the best.
The singer touched on how the public tends to be harsher to women than men. "I wish her more projects. I wish her more love, more happiness, because girls usually get the blunt edge of scrutiny, 'no. Grabe, usually 'yung mga lalaki, they get away scot-free. But tayo, grabe 'yung mang-bash... People are so critical with women," Rhaila boldly claimed.
"So, I wish her all the best, because at the end of the day, we all have our own blessings. I wish her all the blessings in the world, and I have my own," she concluded.
As of writing, Kobe has remained silent about the reason for his breakup with Kyline. This is amid unverified speculations about him cheating, and his mother, Jackie Forster, alleging that Kyline physically assaulted Kobe.
Meanwhile, following various rumors about her former relationship, Kyline simply declared in her April 2025 cover interview with Cosmo, "Kahit anong sabihin niyo sa akin, it's okay as long as my intentions are clear. I know my truth. [...] I really don't have to explain myself."
