Robi Domingo And Maiqui Pineda Celebrate Their Anniversary With The Sweetest Pregnancy Reveal

Maiqui Pineda and Robi Domingo kicked off 2026 by ticking off one of their most anticipated bucketlist entries: parenthood. ICYMI, the couple revealed that they are expecting their first baby, sharing the news just in time for their second wedding anniversary.

Maiqui announced the pregnancy on an Instagram reel that captured the priceless reactions of their friends and family. The video featured Donny Pangilinan, Darren Espanto, Enchong Dee, and Vice Ganda, whose excitement was hard to miss. Fellow celebrities Anne Curtis, Coco Martin, Kathryn Bernardo, and BINI Mikha Lim also shared their visibly shocked and happy reactions. The outpouring of love made it clear that everyone is just as thrilled as Maiqui and Robi as they begin this exciting new chapter together! 

"Two years married… and now our greatest blessing is on the way," Maiqui wrote. 

"Happy 2nd anniversary! We're ready to give you all our love," she added. 

The couple shared that they took the pregnancy test on September 29 last year. Robi could be seen patiently waiting before Maiqui stepped out of the bathroom and revealed the test with two lines, confirming that they were expecting.

It was a moment worth capturing, especially after everything the couple had been through on their journey to building a family. In 2023, just five months after their wedding, Maiqui was diagnosed with dermatomyositis, an autoimmune disease. 

A year later, during Robi's 35th birthday in 2024, he posted a video sharing his birthday wish: Maiqui's healing and the hope of having a baby together.

"My plan in the next five years is to be a better houseband and husband. And hopefully next year, when the Lord permits it and when her [Maiqui's] condition permits it—depende sa clearance ng doctors—I hope to introduce you to a baby Robi or baby Maiqui, or why not twins?" Robi shared. 

"But first things first, I want Maiqui's sickness to be gone so that we could go back to our original plan. That's my wish for my birthday. It's not for me anymore," he added. 

Just before the year ended, Maiqui shared that she is in clinical remission, meaning the signs and symptoms of her autoimmune disease were no longer detectable.

"The best early Christmas gift we could ever ask for—my doctor officially told me that I'm in clinical remission!" Maiqui shared. 

"In short—I'M OKAY! 🙌🏻," she added.
