The Internet once said, "It's Shuvee's world, and we're just living in it"—and we totally agree. Shuvee Etrata has success written all over her career at the moment. Thanks to her Pinoy Big Brother stint, lots of people got to know her better.
But despite the recognition and the back-to-back projects she's been scoring, Shuvee has kept her feet on the ground. "I don't want to consider myself as someone who's already there. Ang dami ko pa pong kakainin na bigas," she said when asked about how she's handling her fame right now. Shuvee took the time to answer questions from the media during the event launch of her new endorsement with Femme.
She added, "I would say, I'm still learning, still growing. And with all the things that have happened in my life right now, I just want to be a good inspiration to everybody."
Shuvee's not taking anything for granted. She sees the attention and recognition given to her as both a challenge and a responsibility—not to live up to anyone's expectations—but to not break their trust in her.
"I hold so much responsibility, I take it as a challenge to actually handle myself with grace under pressure. Kasi, I know it's there. I know the brands are there trusting me. I know the supporters are there supporting me. There are a lot of people depending on me," she noted.
After all, the most important thing for her is not to lose herself in the process. She keeps her values intact, never forgetting the reasons she started this journey in the first place, no matter how bright the spotlight gets.
Shuvee declared, "I always go back to my core. Fame is really nothing if you don't know yourself."

Shuvee Etrata's life after PBB: Celebrity Collab
It's obvious that even if Shuvee wasn't part of the Big Four during their PBB batch, she's well-loved in the outside world. As soon as she stepped out of Bahay Ni Kuya, brand endorsements came pouring in, plus acting and hosting projects were all lined up for her.
In fact, she's starring in a new show called Master Cutter, alongside Dingdong Dantes and Max Collins! "Hindi ko talaga alam kung ano mangyayari. Pero kinakabahan po ako," she candidly told the press.
Aside from that, she's still among the hosts of the morning show, Unang Hirit, and from time to time, the madlang pipol can watch her on It's Showtime. While fans are clamoring for her to become a regular host on the noontime show, Shuvee admits with some regret that her current daily schedule just doesn't allow for it—at least for now.
Still, Shuvee totally treasures her time on It's Showtime. For her, it's all about good vibes, great company, and being in a space where she can truly be herself around the other hosts.
"Of course, as much as possible, I want to be [there every day]. I want to go every single day of my week to Showtime. Kasi Showtime really is a family. You know how I feel when I'm there? I don't feel different at all. They treat me as their family. And it's just fun to do Showtime. I swear to God, it's so fun," Shuvee expressed.
Setting aside work, of course, she has her personal goals. One of which is building a house for her family—and (!) a house with her best friend, Ashley Ortega. She revealed that they will soon be moving in together to a new home. Talk about best friend goals!
"Ashley is my best friend, she's also my co-housemate. Hindi kami nag-abot sa PBB pero habang buhay ata kaming magkasama sa isang bahay," Shuvee said with a laugh.
